1. How do I access Pixacare Application?

The mobile application can be downloaded from theApp Store or Play Store.

The web application can be accessed from: https: //app.pixacare.com/

2. Which healthcare professions or departments are most likely to use the Pixacare solution?

Pixacare was created for surgeons, doctors, nurses, paramedics and all healthcare professionals who use photography to document patient follow-up and/or care for patients suffering from wounds or skin lesions.

Pixacare is used in dermatology, plastic and aesthetic surgery, orthopedic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, vascular medicine and surgery, stomatherapy, endocrinology, emergency services and home hospitalization.

3. What types of healthcare facilities can use the Pixacare solution?

Pixacare is aimed at all public or private healthcare institutions that use photos to document patient follow-up and/or care for patients suffering from wounds or skin lesions:

Nursing Centre (CSI)
Cancer Centres (CLCC)
Regional or University Hospitals (CH, CHR, CHU, CHRU)
Territorial professional health community (CPTS)
Private health institutions of collective interest (ESPIC)
Follow-up and rehabilitation care facilities (SSR)

4. How much does Pixacare cost for self-employed healthcare professionals?

Pixacare is free up to 200 MB, beyond which we offer a monthly subscription. Contact our sales department to find out more about rates.

5. How much does Pixacare cost for a healthcare facility?

The cost of Pixacare for a healthcare facility is based on a quote tailored to the facility's needs. The quote takes into account the number of users, and whether or not the facility chooses to deploy the solution interoperably.

6. Is Pixacare distributed by central purchasing agencies?

Pixacare Application is available through the UGAP (Centrale d'Achat Publique), CAIH (Centrale d'Achat de l'Informatique Hospitalière), E.L.O.D.I and Resah purchasing groups.

7. Is the Pixacare solution reimbursed by Social Security?

To date, Pixacare Application is not reimbursed by social security.

8. Is Pixacare Application CE marked for medical devices?

Yes Pixacare Application is a class I DM, CE marked since December 28, 2022.

9. Is WoundTrack I CE-marked for medical devices?

Yes, WoundTrack I is a class I DM, CE marked since June 29, 2023.

10. Is the Pixacare solution interoperable with a healthcare facility?

Pixacare integrates with hospital information systems in record time via GAM and DPI connectors.

11. Why integrate Pixacare's interoperability solution?

Interoperability allows Pixacare to query the institution's GAM to perfectly identify patients within the application (Identitovigilance). Interoperability integration allows information to be sent back to the patient file of the health care institution, in particular the photographic history.

12. Where are patients' personal and medical data stored?

The data is stored on an HDS approved server. The data is stored in France and kept for the entire legal period in accordance with French law. In case of termination of the Pixacare solution, all data is returned to the institution in structured format.

13. Who is responsible for data processing?

Health care institutions are responsible for the processing of data. Pixacare is a subcontractor of the institution with regard to the RGPD.
