The genesis
Professor Bodin took over 200 photos a week. He then filed them manually. A time-consuming task that he wanted to automate.
In 2018, Pr Bodin went to a healthcare innovation competition with the idea of creating an app to manage his medical photos. It was there that he met entrepreneur Matis Ringdal and engineer Vincent Marceddu. The Pixacare prototype they presented won several awards.
Since its launch, Pixacare has enjoyed a remarkable rise. The company reached a key milestone by raising €2 million in 2021. Then, by acquiring CE marking for medical devices, followed by ISO 13485 quality management system certification.
The application has rapidly established itself on the French medical landscape, gaining the trust of prestigious CHUs, CHs and CLCCs. By the end of 2023, Pixacare had already surpassed the 60,000 patients tracked mark, testifying to its rapid adoption by healthcare professionals.
Pixacare's offices are located in the heart of Strasbourg on the premises of Nextmed, a European reference center in healthcare innovation. Pixacare's twenty-strong team fuses technological and medical excellence to revolutionize medical documentation.
